Paracord, originally used in the suspension lines of US parachutes during World War II, is a cord which is designed to optimize strength, durability and flexibility.
The paracord we use is a super quality 650 nylon cord. They average approximately 3/16" in diameter and have four inner filler cords. A single cord has a 400 lb or better breaking strength. Just think how strong it will be when 4 or more cords are braided together!
This is the perfect lead for agility enthusiasts who let their dogs tug on the leash before or after their run. They also make wonderful drag leads for training dogs and puppies. If the lead gets dirty, just wash it with a little soap and water, rinse well, wring out all excess water, hang to dry and it is good as new.
Braided paracord leashes are available in 4-strands. Your choice of color(s) and hardware. Certain beads can be added to paracord items as well. If you need something extra light or thin, single strand paracord leads are also available. Hardware is attached with a decorative knot.
A decorative terminal knot is used to attach the hardware securely to the paracord.
